[fanart] Kubo and the two strings AU

A little drawing of bad/alternative ending to Kubo and the two strings that came to my mind after talking with Anjona, in which Moon King succeeds in gouging out Kubo’s remaining eye. Yet despite rendering Kubo blind physically he hasn’t manage to blind Kubo spiritually.

The young boy manages to flee the Moon King’s wrath and travels around Japan as a storyteller. If someone lets him stay overnight (and maybe even share a bowl of rice/cup of tea with him), Kubo tells one of his captivating stories in return. Kubo also trains in the art of swordsmanship in order to defeat his grandfather one day.
